Search Service Error - Your search cannot be completed because of a service error

Searching on SharePoint/MOSS 2007 site returns an error message: Your search cannot be completed because of a service error. Try your search again or contact your administrator for more info. On the Central Admin > Operations > Timer Job Status the following jobs have stopped with the following (status): - Application Server Administration Service Timer Job (aborted) - Application Server Timer Job (failed) On the Search Administration page, the crawl status display the following message:

SOLUTION: - Restart the Windows SharePoint Services Administration service that will also restarted the Application Server Administration Service Timer Job and Application Server Timer Job.
